Meet Christy Beebe: The Driving Force Behind Gumshoe Security
Christy Beebe was born and raised in Tucker, GA. After graduating from Tucker High School, she attended Indiana University on a softball scholarship, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She then returned home to work as Human Resource Director at Sweetwater Pools, a local pool company, where she oversaw hiring over 500 local and international lifeguards and staffed more than 60 country clubs and neighborhood pools.
Having been a Pool Manager and Pool Supervisor, Christy took pride in training young adults in responsibility, work ethic, and lifesaving skills. While Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid training were required for her team, Christy went further by becoming a certified instructor herself. A short time in cardiac healthcare strengthened her understanding of how critical immediate action can be.
The sudden death of her father in 2014 after a lifelong battle with Type 1 diabetes and a heart condition inspired her to start Gumshoe Security. Christy’s mission is to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills to act decisively during emergencies, because preparation and quick action can save lives—including those of the people you love most.
